ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

 NOTICE AND AGENDA

Notice is hereby given that the 2023 Annual General Meeting of the Kullilli Bulloo River Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (“the corporation”) will be held:

Date:                Saturday, 25 November 2023

Time:              Registrations at 9.30 am (registrations and entry closed after 10am)

                           Meeting start at 10.00 am

Location:      Brisbane International Hotel,  Cnr Sandgate Rd & Zillmere Road, Boondall QLD                               4034

Purpose of Annual General Meeting

 The purpose for the Annual General Meeting is to:

1.   Confirm the minutes of the previous AGM held on 26 November 2022;
2.   Confirm the minutes of the Special General Meeting held on 26 November 2022;
3.   Consider any reports of the Kullilli Bulloo River Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC required     to be presented at the Annual General Meeting;
4.   Check the details on the Register of Members;
5.   Appointment of an Auditor for the 2023-2024 financial year;
6.   Election of Directors (Vacancies)
7.   Discuss general business and Members questions.

Election of Directors – Vacancies

In accordance with Rule 8.1, there are three vacancies of the Board of Directors and members have the right to decide whether to fill these vacancies during the 2023 AGM.

For any Member nominating for a Directors position, must have a Director Identification Number prior to appointment. For further information on Director Identification Numbers, visit the Australian Business Registry Services at https://www.abrs.gov.au/director-identification-number.

Explanatory Notes

Appointment of Proxy:

Members are not able to appoint a Proxy for this meeting – there will be no proxies. See Rule 7.14 of the Rule Book.

Travel:

The Corporation is not able to assist members with travel to attend this meeting. However, refreshments and lunch will be provided.
